This presentation dives into 2023 participation rates in outdoor recreation with focuses on race, gender, and sexual orientation. Many people face barriers to outdoor recreation such as lack of financial resources and lack of transportation. Some barriers are more systematic targeting historically marginalized groups. After discussing these barriers, RCO will explain how they begin to remove them and create the space for more participation in Outdoor Recreation.
